Burning Fuels.
When fuels are burned in oxygen , heat is produced but carbon dioxide and water vapour are also produced.
Sulphur dioxide and nitrogen are also produced.
These gases cause global warming and acid rain.

This gas has no smell and can cause death.
Cars are now fitted with catalytic converters which convert this gas into a harmless gas.
